September 15, 2015 - Rebuilding Together Quad Cities can be designated as a write in charity for donor designated funds during the 2015 United Way campaign. To designate some or all of your donation to RTQC, select Other for the Agency and type Rebuilding Together Quad Cities in the agency name.

RTQC awarded $3,000 Rock Island Community Foundation Grant

RTQC partners with St. Ambrose University Students for its Urban Plunge

August 24, 2015 - Thirty St. Ambrose University students volunteered for "Urban Plunge" service work on Aug 24, 2015. RTQC supported the program for incoming freshmen by providing the project, material, tools and oversight to stain a three-story deck and to scrape and paint entrances on an apartment building owned by Neighborhood Housing, another non-profit serving the community. Our friend and former board member, P.J. Foley, was the SAU staff member with the group.

Donate to Rebuilding Together Quad Cities through Birdies for Charities

May 19, 2015 - The John Deere Classic is fast approaching. Rebuilding Together Quad Cities is one again a pledge charity (#34) for the Birdies for Charity Program. In addition to your donation, Birdies for Charity matches the first 5-10% depending upon total pledged, thus increasing the impact of your donation!

Donations $1500 or more can be made online by clicking the graphic at left to visit the Birdies For Charity Online Donation Page. Donations less than $1500 must be made via a printed pledge form. If you would like us to mail a pledge form(s) to you, send your home address to rebuilding@rtqc.org and let us know how many pledge forms you need. You might even qualify to win a car or one of several other prizes.

RTQC Rehabs Transitional Housing for Homeless Women and Children

April 26, 2015 - RTQC mobilizes 25 John Deere volunteers to do light rehab work on transitional housing for homeless women and children. Activities included painting, light repairs, safety improvements, and light carpentry projects. Read more about this in the Quad City Times article.

200 volunteers tackle home improvement, yard projects

September 24, 2014 - In a first-time collaborative effort, the local agencies of Neighborhood Housing Services, Habitat for Humanity and Rebuilding Together Quad-Cities joined forces Saturday for a combined work day. With a total volunteer force of more than 200 people, including their regular volunteers, the three agencies assisted residents with home repairs, improvements, yard cleanups and beautification projects.
